On November 4, 2019, Waipahu High School was visited by members from the Pacific Century Fellows program. The program "aims to unite Hawai'i's emerging leaders from diverse professions and backgrounds in an endeavor to find innovative solutions to the state's main problems and concerns."

The members were able to see a glimpse of Waipahu High School's Academy of Arts and Communication, Academy of Industrial and Engineering Technology, Academy of Professional Public Services, Ohana of Excellence and our two Nationally Certified Distinguished Academies: Academy of Health and Sciences and Academy of Natural Resources. Student Ambassadors toured the groups on campus and shared what each Academy offered relating to academics and opportunities in-and-out of the classrooms including Early College.
