Due to the State’s COVID-19 positivity rate, the Department of Education will be delaying the start of Fall sports. The DOE highest priority is to ensure that all students can continue to attend school safely. New safety protocols were developed for Student-Athletes and coaches to participate in fall sports for the 2021-22 school year that includes being fully vaccinated to participate. Due to these protocols, Fall sports will not start until Sept 24th to allow anyone to get fully vaccinated before participating to reduce the risk of exposure to COVID-19 for our students. We continue to urge everyone to do their part both on and off campus, which includes following county, state and federal requirements to stop the spread of the virus. Please continue to practice physical distancing, wear a mask, wash your hands frequently, and avoid unnecessary social gatherings.
As a reminder, before coming onto campus, please do a wellness check. If someone in your household has been tested for COVID-19 or if they are exhibiting symptoms, please call before coming to campus so we can assess the situation.
