Waipahu High School students in the Academy of Health Sciences were awarded their Pharmacy Technician certification at a ceremony held on Dec. 19th in the Waipahu High School library attended by faculty, family and friends. Students started their journey during the summer and earned their certification by completed 96 classroom hours and 160 externship hours at a local CVS.
This opportunity was made possible with the support of Kapiolani Community College and CVS providing the coursework on the high school campus and experience in the pharmacies. Students also received support from the Waipahu High faculty and admin, and their families. Way to Go Marauders!! Congratulations.
