Diagnostic Services & Medical Biotechnology

The program of study will include subjects such as: diagnostic laboratory careers, safety measures, basic maintenance of laboratory materials and equipment, working with DNA samples, phlebotomy, diagnostic imaging, and reading ECGs. This is meant for students who are interested in research, working for a lab, or performing lab work on human samples. This program will rely heavily on knowledge of genetics and microbiology concepts.
