Aloha and welcome to Waipahu High School, Home of the Marauders!  We’re very excited to have you join us next year as freshmen.  Currently, it's important to be sure to fulfill all of your responsibilities at the Intermediate School, so that you’re prepared for this very important transition as rising freshmen.  Waipahu High School is a college and wall-to-wall National Model Academy High School.  This means all of our career academies in Arts & Communication, Health & Sciences, Industrial & Engineering Technology, Natural Resources, and Professional & Public Services are all nationally recognized and focused on supporting you.  As you register for high school will be selecting one of these academies.  Apply yourselves diligently every day to make the most of every opportunity.   Please pay particular attention to the videos we’re providing to ensure that you're registering for the right academy.  Waipahu High School also offers a robust dual credit program in Early College and through our Advanced Placement courses.  Take advantage of these opportunities.  Students in our early college program may also qualify for membership into the prestigious Phi Theta Kappa National Collegiate Honor Society and Waipahu High’s very own Beta Phi Omega chapter, the only one of its kind on a high school campus in the United States.  Extracurricular activities are also very popular with students.  Be sure to join any of a number of our clubs, service or community organizations, or athletics.  It’s a great way to meet new people and make new friends.  One of the most important things in high school is to make trustworthy and reliable friends.  Be sure to make good choices, study hard, apply yourselves, and stay involved.  Our student-centered motto is My Voice, My Choice, My Future and our teachers, counselors, administrators, and staff are here to help you.  We look forward to seeing you next year.
